the presence of smoke, flame and heat at source to deliver an industry leading solution for immediate fire
detection.
Unaffected by airflow or stratification it delivers reliable detection even outside or in large voluminous spaces,
providing a fast, accurate and very early warning to the presence of fire or rising temperatures outside normally
expected levels.
The FireVu system enables operators to immediately raise an alarm and take appropriate action either on-site or
through remote monitoring.

How FireVu Works
FireVu detects in an image the presence of:
• Smoke
• Heat
• Flame
Combination of a video camera, thermopile sensor and patented software.
• FireVu flame detection uses 60 of the 30 frames for its overview.
• And 30 frames per second at fixed exposure rates to detect flame.
• Software relies on the physical law of Planck and black body radiation.
• Principle that a canon ball when heated emits light at a given colour and
intensity at a given temperature.
