Fire Pumps & Controllers

58 products

The fire pump is the heart of a sprinkler or hydrant system, delivering the pressure and flow it needs. Our catalogue includes electric and diesel driven fire pumps, jockey pumps, vertical turbine pumps, pump controllers, motors and supporting items such as fuel tanks.

To select a pump, state the required flow (gpm or m³/h), pressure (psi or bar), driver type and approval requirements. Contact us for a suitable package and price.

Fire pumps and controllers

What does a jockey pump do?

A jockey pump keeps system pressure steady against small leaks so the main fire pump does not start unnecessarily.

Electric or diesel fire pump?

Electric pumps are common; diesel pumps may be preferred where power failure is a risk or a backup power source is required. The decision follows the project specification.

Why is a pump controller needed?

The controller starts the pump automatically when pressure drops and provides protection and alarm functions. It must match the pump type.
